About the Position

We are seeking a

Junior Estimator

• to support the preconstruction process for commercial construction projects, with a strong focus on retail.
• This is a hands-on opportunity for an early-career estimator to work closely with senior leadership on projects ranging from
• conceptual budgeting through bid submission
• .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for retail ground-up and tenant improvement projects.
• Solicit, level, and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Assist with bid packages, scopes of work, and preconstruction budgets.
• Participate in pre-bid site walks and review plans and specifications.
• Maintain subcontractor databases and bid logs.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to align estimates with client expectations and schedules.
• Track bid deadlines and coordinate timely proposal submissions.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Retail estimating experience required.
• Ground-up and tenant improvement experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with CSI divisions and commercial construction costs in the Phoenix market.

Proficiency with

• Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar estimating/takeoff software
• .
• Working knowledge of subcontractor bid solicitation and scope leveling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Experience with national retail accounts or repeat-client programs is a plus.
