We are currently looking for an Accounting Intern to join the team in Resende. This role provides practical learning opportunities, exposure to real business processes, and ongoing support from leaders and team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Fixed Assets accounting processes, including asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, and retirements
• Assist in maintaining and updating the Fixed Assets Register
• Support monthly accounting closing activities related to fixed assets
• Assist in asset reconciliation between sub-ledger and general ledger
• Assist with physical inventory of fixed assets and asset tagging
• Support internal and external audits, including providing documentation and explanations
• Support controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
• Help identify and investigate accounting discrepancies or inconsistencies
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules related to fixed assets

Job Knowledge and Skills

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, preferably related to fixed assets and financial reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data analysis)
• Basic understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP (ECC or S/4HANA), is a plus
• Ability to handle financial data accurately and with attention to detail
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage documentation
• Intermediate English level (reading and writing), sufficient for basic communication and documentation
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
