Job Description Daily QC & Laboratory Activities 1. Documentation & Record Keeping Logbook entry and regular updates RM (Raw Material) coal sampling records RM SO₂ entry and record maintenance RM Ammonia entry and record maintenance Daily Nitrite QC deviation report preparation FP (Finished Product) LIMS entry and verification Verification and release of all LIMS entries for system mapping COA preparation and release for finished products SAP entries: Inbound and outbound tanker entries Ensure all RM data is updated in LIMS for approved GRN in SAP system 2. Testing & Analysis Finished product testing and recording: MAHCL, NSA, SS & SNI, SNA Export, PS Coated O/L Previous shift finished product testing review (SNI, SNA) In-process sample analysis: SNI Plant HAS Plant MPP Plant Scrubber & Nitro Plant Dryer sample testing and record Testing of each batch (NaNO₃ content by PDSA method) Daily KMnO₄ normality check before use RM coal sampling and testing Communication of results to plant (telephonically) 3. Inspection & Release Finished product tanker inspection and release Ensure QC verification of filled bag weight in every shift Inspection of export labeling as per customer guidelines (performed by production, verified by QC) 4. Calibration & Quality Assurance Calibration and validation of laboratory instruments as per calibration planner Ensure compliance with testing methods and quality standards 5. Coordination & System Activities Coordination with production for in-process control Ensure proper data flow between LIMS and SAP systems Timely reporting and escalation of deviations Good Practice Additions (Recommended) Maintain traceability for all samples and reports Ensure proper sample identification and storage Follow SOPs and safety guidelines strictly
