Insurance Verification Specialists

The Insurance Verification Specialist will support a luxury behavioral health and addiction treatment provider by verifying patient insurance coverage, confirming eligibility and benefits, documenting coverage details, and coordinating with internal teams to support patient admissions and treatment workflows. Key Responsibilities Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and coverage details Contact insurance carriers via phone and payer portals Document verification outcomes accurately within client systems Identify coverage limitations, exclusions, deductibles, and authorization requirements Coordinate with admissions and billing teams regarding patient financial clearance Maintain confidentiality of PHI and PII in accordance with HIPAA standards Provide professional and empathetic communication when interacting with stakeholders Preferred Experience Healthcare insurance verification or patient access experience Behavioral health, addiction treatment, or medical office experience preferred Familiarity with U.S. insurance terminology and payer workflows Experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare providers Required Skills Strong English communication skills High attention to detail and documentation accuracy Professionalism and discretion Ability to manage sensitive patient information Comfortable working onsite in a structured healthcare support environment
