About The Role

DescriptionHampden-Sydney College is seeking to fill the position of painter within the Building Structures group of Facilities Management. Reporting to the Structures Supervisor, performs a variety of tasks associated with painting, finishing and refinishing multiple types of surfaces. Requires attention to detail in the preparation of surfaces and the application of finishing materials. The painter works on multiple surfaces to include walls, wood, plaster, brick, and other hard surfaces.

The hiring range is $18.40 - $21.75 per hour.

QualificationsQualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 1 – 3 years previous experience are required. Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license.
