Job Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Excellent mathematical, communication and computer skills, be strongly detail oriented and be able to easily multi-task and focus on the task at hand.
- Should be able to independently initiate, prioritize, and perform or solve work problems and ultimately achieve work objectives and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in written and verbal communication.
- Follow written (SOP’s, company memos & emails) and verbal instructions.
- Minimum of six months related experience with demonstrated aptitude to learn on-the-job.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Possess a strong work ethic to positively contribute to the company’s mission, vision, values and environmental policy and quality policy.
- Must have a positive attitude, support co-workers to obtain desired objectives, and assist others in their contributions.
- Must be able to learn Grower Portal, ERP, WMS, & X3 systems to perform data entry & print reports.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (in required areas).
- Attentive to the task and own surroundings.
- Confidence, assertiveness, and ability to work and support in a team environment.
- Ability to work under time limitations and changing priorities.
- Critical thinking, Data entry and analytical skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and work in a diverse environment, delivery-oriented, independent, and reliable.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide support to Quality Assurance team and more specifically to the Quality Systems Coordinator entering grower chemical and harvest data.
Job Duties
- Work with the Quality Systems Coordinator ensure incoming product passes all food safety and quality requirements.
- Spray record and harvest information collection and entry for complete traceability.
- Entering records into the grower portal obtained through the portal, email, and alternate sources.
- Collection and entry of USDA inspection certificates.
- Assist and support other harvest duties as needed by the QSC and/or the VP of Quality.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
- Complete assigned tasks
- Answering questions from internal and external customers.
- Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements.
- May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
- Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
- Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Must adhere to all company policies.
- Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Follow all SOPs in each area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
