Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to ACCORs quality standards.
- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and allocate tasks based on occupancy levels and priorities.
- Provide training and mentorship to housekeeping staff to enhance performance and service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linen, and coordinate orders as needed.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for housekeeping staff, providing constructive feedback and recognizing achievements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and guests.
- Basic computer skills for managing schedules and inventory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
