About The Role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor at Novotel is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage service within the establishment. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, coordinating events, and maintaining the quality and presentation of the food and drinks offered. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily food and beverage service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule food and beverage staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions to enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in dining areas and service stations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate meal preparations and service.
  • Prepare reports on service performance, sales, and staff performance for management review.
  • Stay updated on food and beverage trends, menu changes, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu offerings and wine pairing.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
