We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our team at Women's Care of Lake Cumberland. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of obstetric, gynecologic, and other women’s health-related conditions.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians.
• Instruct patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain equipment in appropriate operating condition.
• Maintain examination rooms and work areas.
• Order and stock all supplies.
• Maintain accurate department records, reports, and files as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Work as a team member within the ultrasound department and all other departments.
• Document work processes as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program required.

Schedule Requirements

• Full-time position, 5 days per week, 100% clinic-based, in person work required.
• Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
• Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
