- Employer: An IT Managed Service Provider located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Role Overview
The Cloud & Endpoint Support Engineer (Tier 2)is responsible forday-to-day endpoint operations and Microsoft 365 support across multiple client environments. This is a hands-on role focused on consistent execution, endpoint hygiene, patching, troubleshooting, and clear documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Administer Microsoft 365 and core Azure/Entra ID services (user/mailbox management, Conditional Access changes,retentionand mailbox policies).
Configure and manage Intune, Autopilot, Group Policy, application deployments, and configuration baselines.
Execute scheduled Windows and third-party patching, including reporting and remediation.
Monitor andmaintainendpoint security baselines and EDR/RMM agents (e.g.,SentinelOne, Arctic Wolf,NinjaOne).
Troubleshoot endpoint, mail flow, DNS, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and basicfirewallissues.
Resolve Tier 2 escalations and collaborate with senior engineers for complex incidents.
Maintain runbooks for onboarding/offboarding, device builds, patching, and routine maintenance.
Use PowerShell for basic automation, validation, and reporting.
Document all work clearly and accurately.
Serve as the primary, hands-on owner of scheduled maintenance windows—executing,validating, and documenting patching and maintenance activities—and performemergency after-hourschanges asrequired.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows endpoints.
- Strong hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot, Group Policy, and patching workflows.
- Experience with EDR/RMM tools in a support capacity.
- Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
