Service Glazing Superintendent

$80,000 – $90,000 a year | Full-time | On-site

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Service Glazing Superintendent to join our Halifax branch. This role plays a critical leadership function within our Service division, overseeing glazing crews, coordinating daily service operations, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery of work. This position is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm with flexibility required.

A Day in the Life

• Preparing, organizing, and reviewing service jobs
• Dispatching glazing crews
• Reviewing job scopes, drawings, and layouts
• Ordering materials and managing service inventory
• Conducting site visits
• Providing hands-on support to foremen and crews
• Maintaining communication with customers
• Promote and enforce safe work practices
• Maintain flexibility to support emergency service calls as needed
• Assist with training and development
• This role supports service crews and requires a balance of office coordination and time spent in the field.

Requirements

• 5+ years of glazing experience
• Previous leadership experience
• Ability to read and interpretblueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Comfortable working at heights
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong English communication skills
• Solid organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
• Located in or near Halifax
• Ability to effectively use mobile apps and internal service software (training provided)
• Red Seal Glazier certification (preferred)
