Casual Pathology Collector - Canberra

Job Description

Working morning shifts between Monday - Saturday 7.00 -10.00am, this role will see you providing exceptional clinical care coupled with a great experience for our patients. Each shift will involve;

Collecting blood in appropriate tubes

Completing required paperwork/data entry for pathology tests

Performing blood collection with minimal discomfort to the patient

Use the daily treatment summary or patient management software to identify tests requested

Maintaining the blood collection rooms ensuring they are clean, tidy and restocked

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified and experienced pathology collector for this role, someone with strong clinical skills and on the job experience. You will also enjoy the customer service element to this role - it will suit someone warm and empathetic who genuinely enjoys providing good care - that's Genea's point of difference.
