Revenue and Settlement Accountant (Junior)

JOB PURPOSE

Support revenue and settlement operations by recording daily revenue transactions, preparing settlement reconciliations, and ensuring accurate, timely processing of payment gateway activities in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Record daily revenue and payment gateway transactions.
• Prepare settlement and host disbursement reconciliations.
• Process manual revenue adjustments and accounting entries.
• Monitor settlement variances and escalate discrepancies.
• Support payment gateway reconciliations and revenue reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve settlement issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or revenue operations.
• Experience with payment gateway or marketplace transactions is preferred.
• Experience working with high-volume financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
