Check out our website to discover the Tenneco Way POSITION SUMMARY: Rotate through various prototype labs as priorities & manning levels dictate. Perform all Materials Lab, Assembly Lab & Test Lab equipment set-up, operation, maintenance, and calibration per established procedures. Supply technical assistance to lab personnel. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Become and remain well versed on all major pieces of equipment in the Milan labs Perform equipment set-up and operation, maintenance and calibration per established procedures. Perform various duties required of each lab as required. Accurately report and record data and any deviation from procedures to appropriate personnel and files. Perform requested physical tests. Calculate and record results and compare with prior data for repeatability and consistency. Submit documentation as appropriate. Initiate and contribute to continuous improvements in the prototype lab’s methods, capabilities, and productivity. Follow all company policies and procedures such as the quality management system, KPI, and Environmental Health and Safety. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate with 6 years related technical experience. Associates Degree with 4 years technical experience or 8 years related technical experience. A strong mechanical inclination with prior experience with equipment set-up/operation/maintenance/calibration. Must be flexible and willing to accept changing priorities Proficient use of computers and spread sheet programs. Excellent organizational skills.
