This position is crucial in bridging the gap between our development teams and customer applications to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction across the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities Provide expert technical support and consultation to both internal departments and customers regarding application technologies related to Siegwerk Paper & Board products. Develop and optimize printing processes and application methods to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Collaborate with R&D, sales, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and develop tailored solutions to meet client needs. Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of application technology advances and best practices. Support the launch of new products by preparing application guidelines and technical documentation. Monitor market trends and technological advancements to continuously improve application processes and recommend innovations. Engage in cross-functional projects to contribute application expertise and ensure seamless integration of technology improvements. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent technical qualification. Proven experience in application technology, preferably within the printing ink or packaging industry. Strong understanding of printing processes Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues. Effective communicator with the capability to deliver technical presentations and training. Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and cross-functional teams across the EMEA region. Willingness to travel as required to support customers and participate in international projects.
