About The Role

DESCRIPTION: To process samples for subcontracting to other labs. To run daily subcontract summary and ensure samples are received at the Subcontracting station in a timely manner. To ensure accuracy in labeling of samples for the process of subcontracting To prepare appropriate documentation for the purpose of subcontracting. To liaise with project management and QA for preparation of documents. To coordinate with login staff for accuracy of testcodes. To ensure samples are appropriately packed and handed off to Shipping. To monitor e-mails on a continuous basis to ensure updates are met. To maintain daily tracking records, and archiving of all documents To receive test samples from external customers To unpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements To enter client and sample information into LIMS To ensure proper sample storage To work within established SOPs and QA/QC protocols To be accountable for accuracy of results and data entry To recognize routine and non-routine problems and consult with managers or supervisors To perform other related duties as assigned - QUALIFICATIONS : You have a Chemical Technician Diploma or equivalent You have excellent command of the English language You have excellent customer service skills You are able to lift 40lbs You possess excellent computer skills You have the ability to learn and understand analytical requests You are able to work independently and in a team setting You can prioritize and meet deadlines You are detail oriented You are a dynamic and energetic individual with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment You possess good laboratory skills and the ability to keep the work area organized and clean You can follow all health and safety policies of the company - Must be flexible with any shift hours and weekend work when business dictate.
