Electrical Engineer

Awtad is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising electrical systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will ensure that all electrical works comply with project specifications, applicable codes, safety standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience managing electrical engineering activities throughout all project phases, from design to commissioning.

Requirements

• Design and review electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Supervise electrical installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, electrical codes, and safety standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports, and assist in project planning.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
