Crossix is seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our Engineering team in New York.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in design sessions, Design and implement data architecture for new Crossix solutions.
• Maintain and improve data performance, structure, resiliency, availability and on existing data structures.
• Support R&D, QA and operational needs.
• Become a crucial member of infrastructure operations management and an important representative in the software design forums.

What You've Done

• At least 5 years of hands on Data management, preferably both Application and Infrastructure oriented.
• 2 years of design and architectural experience.
• Proven experience in both open and closed source relational and non-relational databases.
• Good knowledge of new data structures such as Cassandra, MondoDB, Elasticsearch and so on.
• 1-2 years of experience in ETL structures and tools.
• Experience in working in Big Data analytics companies is a huge advantage.
• DevOps processes knowledge and understanding - an advantage.
