About The Role
The Retail Media & Partnerships Manager is responsible for building and scaling Retail Media and strategic marketing partnerships within Shell Mobility in Poland. The role connects Marketing, Convenience Retail (NFR) and Commercial teams, enabling development of new revenue streams and customer engagement opportunities across Shell’s physical and digital ecosystem. Retail Media is an emerging capability, transitioning from NFR ownership into Marketing, requiring close collaboration across teams.

Purpose
Develop and scale Retail Media and partnership initiatives that drive incremental revenue, customer engagement and transaction growth, while strengthening Shell’s market positioning and commercial performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead development and implementation of Retail Media capability in Poland.
- Build and manage Retail Media revenue pipeline, supporting long-term revenue growth trajectory.
- Selection and optimization of marketing tools (POS, BTL, mobile app) to effectively deliver retail media offers and maximize sales performance
- Develop commercial models, pricing and business cases for partnerships and media offerings.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships across retail, automotive, FMCG, telecom and service sectors.
- Ensure partnerships contribute to margin growth and transaction uplift.
- Work in close cooperation with NFR Manager and Marketing teams to align priorities and execution.
- Contract Management (Holder) - managing contract creation, execution and analysis to maximize operational and financial performance at an organization, all while reducing financial risk.
- Proven ability to design and execute seamless, end-to-end customer journeys across paid, owned, and earned channels (online & offline)
Retail Media Strategy & Implementation
- Define and implement Retail Media operating model across content, delivery and performance.
- Translate available assets (screens, audio, digital platforms) into scalable commercial offering.
- Support transition of Retail Media ownership from NFR to Marketing.
- Coordinate cross-functional setup ensuring operational readiness.
Retail Media Monetisation
- Develop and manage Retail Media offering for external advertisers.
- Leverage digital and in-store channels to create compelling media solutions.
- Drive revenue growth and monetisation of customer touchpoints.
- Build structured pipeline of partners and advertisers.
Partnership Development & Management
- Identify, develop and manage partnerships with external partners across multiple sectors.
- Negotiate partnership terms in cooperation with Contracting & Procurement (CP).
- Ensure strong governance, commercial alignment and value delivery.
- Maintain long-term relationships delivering continuous business benefit.
Commercial & Business Case Development
- Develop business cases for partnerships and investments.
- Evaluate ROI and optimise portfolio performance.
- Ensure financial viability and alignment with commercial targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with NFR Manager and NFR team for Retail Media implementation.
- Collaborate with Fuels, EV and Convenience Marketing teams.
- Align with CRM, Loyalty, Operations and Network teams.
- Ensure integration into full customer journey and marketing plans.
- Explore partnership opportunities in B2B Mobility area

Required Experience / Qualifications
- Experience in partnerships, business development or commercial marketing.
- Strong commercial mindset and financial understanding.
- Experience building and evaluating business cases.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across functions and external partners.
- Expectation of around 3 days per week in the office (if you have case for exception, please raise during application process)
- Fluent Polish (professional / near-native proficiency)
- Fluent English
Additional Capabilities (Modern Scope)
- Understanding of Retail Media or digital monetisation models.
- Experience in omni-channel integrating POS, digital, and mobile app touchpoints into a consistent omnichannel experience
