What You'll Do

Large Nursing Home striving to meet or exceed the personal and clinical needs of the residents to achieve their potential for self-determination and independent living in a safe and hazard free environment.

Performs acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement, and nursing skill based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences.

Utilizing nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in the provision of patient care

Provide care, counsel, and health teaching to the ill, injured,or infirmed

Promote health maintenance and prevention of illness

Perform medical treatment and administer medications as prescribed, intervenes when emergency care is required.

Supervise, teach, and delegate nursing care activities

Serve as a member of patients' treatment teams

Assist medical and other professionals in the provision of care

Perform nursing assessments on new admissions

Document essential entries

Check lab work orders and specimens prior to submission

Conduct and attend training

Explain plan of care to patients and families

Schedule patient's treatments in other units/facilities

Follow established policies and procedures

What You'll Need

RN Licensure: active, current, unrestricted. KY or Compact.

New graduates welcomed
