About The Role

Overall Purpose of the Role This role is part of the Production Part Approval Process team, that facilitate NXP to demonstrate confidence in NXP products and production processes for automotive customers (described by IATF 16949). The PPAP Coordinator is responsible for the PPAP process for the assigned BLs, supports part approvals in official PPAP format and with documented results. Your Tasks: Awareness of the PPAP 18 document elements that are the requirements of the AIAG PPAP 4th edition standard. Provide support to other teams and departments within the company (automotive business lines, sales teams, and manufacturing teams) to complete and compile PPAP's and Part Submission Warrants (PSW’s), escalate when help is needed. Lead PPAP coordination meetings with assigned business lines and keep current on status of all projects. Manage updates to the PPAP’s - triggered by product changes or customer requests (Support customer-driven PPAP changes, updates, and/or questions) Ensure status updates to the customer contacts of pending PPAP changes and PPAP submissions. Manage time to keep deadline with approved PPAP’s – to respective groups in a timely manner. PPAP Tool application: Create, track, and manage multiple requests by using the automated NXP PPAP Tool, Support Engineering groups and customer support teams with PPAP creations and/or updates. Understand the requirements of the IMDS entry and cooperate with customers and NXP ECO-Products team in obtaining the IMDS data for the PPAP document. Prepare reports, charts, and other materials for operational reviews with management. Your Responsibilities: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant / relatable experience. 0-2 years’ working experience. Technical, mechanical or engineering affinity is a plus. Computer literacy: MS Office, Adobe Acrobat is a plus. Studies/Knowledge/Experience in PPAP, Quality methods and/or in semiconductor environment is a plus. Your Soft skills: Ability to act independently, efficiently, and close open issues. Experience in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects. Excellent communication skills for all ranks of peers, engineers, managers, internal/ external customers: written and verbal. Ability to analyze and interpret general technical data. Studies/Knowledge/Experience in PPAP, Quality methods and/or in semiconductor environment is a plus. Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
