WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create Inspiring Experiences : Plan and lead engaging classroom activities.
  • Track Progress : Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records.
  • Encourage Family Involvement : Partner with parents to inspire active participation.
  • Support Inclusion: Ensure and inclusive classroom for children with disabilities.
  • Integrate Wellness: Incorporate health and nutrition activities.
  • Promote the Program : Assist with recruitment efforts to connect more families to the Head Start program.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’re great at connecting with others.
  • Computer-savvy with solid organizational skills.
  • A natural leader who thrives as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledgeable about child development and eager to apply best practices.
  • Problem-solving comes easily, and you handle challenges with grace.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • An AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (as defined by the Office of Head Start).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or the willingness to obtain it).

  • Salary range of $25.69 - $33.68 p/hour + Benefits!
  • Full-time (40 hours per week), 12-Month
