Role Overview

We’re seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for our suite of fraud prevention products, with a focus on accelerating adoption among Canadian dealerships and dealer groups.

This client-facing role is critical to sales efforts and driving engagement with fraud solutions tailored to the needs of automotive retailers. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and dealership stakeholders to deliver deep product expertise as fraud prevention evolves in the Canadian market.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, automotive retail, and client engagement.

What you'll do

  • Act as the product SME for fraud prevention solutions during the sales cycle
  • Deliver compelling product demos and presentations tailored to dealership needs
  • Partner with dealership clients to address technical and regulatory questions
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to delivery, managing expectations and timelines
  • Support ongoing activation and enablement of dealer users
  • Contribute to new product launches and feedback loops with Product and Engineering
  • Stay informed on emerging fraud and risk trends and legislation and support related initiatives

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 10+ years’ experience in software, FinTech, automotive retail, fraud/risk management, or data products
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, especially in sales engineering or solution consulting
  • Experience working with dealerships, dealer groups, or automotive retail clients is a strong asset

The base salary range for this position is CAD 90K + Performance Incentive
