About The Role

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Overtime: Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (approx. 56 hours/week)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machining Specialist with programming experience to support the production of industrial-grade components and equipment. This role works closely with shop leadership and plays a key part in delivering high-precision machined parts in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

  • Interpret machining blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
  • Develop and edit G-code programs across various control systems (Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain – experience with all not required)
  • Hold tight tolerances up to 0.0005" while maintaining consistent quality
  • Inspect finished parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges
  • Ensure parts meet required specifications and quality standards
  • Follow all safety procedures in a heavy industrial setting
  • Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a strong professional approach
  • Handle materials and components weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Support production needs, including scheduled overtime

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining and programming
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision work
  • Familiarity with G-code programming principles
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
