Role Overview The Assistant Manager – HR & OD will play a key role in driving HR digitalization initiatives, managing data and analytics, supporting talent acquisition, and overseeing manpower planning and budgeting. The role requires a blend of analytical capability, process orientation, and stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Digitalization & Process Improvement Lead and support HR digital transformation initiatives (HRMS, automation, dashboards, etc.). Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement technology-driven solutions. Coordinate with IT and external vendors for system implementation and enhancements. 2. Data Management & HR Analytics Maintain and manage HR databases ensuring accuracy and integrity of employee data. Develop HR dashboards and MIS reports (attrition, headcount, hiring metrics, etc.). Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making. Support predictive analytics for workforce planning. 3. Presentations & Reporting Prepare high-quality presentations for leadership reviews and management meetings. Translate complex data into meaningful insights and visual reports. Support HR leadership in strategic presentations and business reviews. 4. Recruitment & Hiring Manage end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles. Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements. Source, screen, and schedule candidates; ensure a smooth candidate experience. Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire. 5. Manpower Planning & Budgeting Support annual manpower planning and budgeting exercise. Monitor headcount vs. budget and provide variance analysis. Collaborate with finance and business teams for workforce cost optimization. 6. Stakeholder Management Work closely with business leaders to understand HR needs. Act as a bridge between HR, IT, and finance for cross-functional initiatives. Qualifications & Experience MBA / PGDM in HR or related field. 4–7 years of experience in HR with exposure to analytics and recruitment. Experience in HRMS / digital tools implementation is preferred. Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HR analytics tools Knowledge of HRMS systems and digital platforms Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders Preferred Competencies Data-driven mindset Process orientation and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
