About The Role
Job Type: Direct Hire
- Starting Pay: $36.00+/hour (based on experience)
- Earning Potential: Up to $95,000 annually, including base pay, production bonuses, shift differentials, and planned overtime
Overview
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support operations in a heavy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment. Candidates should have a strong background in industrial electrical work, including motors, controls, and PLC systems.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems across facility equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure reliable operation
- Troubleshoot and service AC/DC motors, PLC-controlled systems, drives, and electrical controls
- Maintain and repair systems supporting machinery, cranes, and mobile equipment
- Work with components tied to hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and motors
- Install and maintain automated and electronically controlled systems, including panels and distribution setups
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Balance electrical loads and assist in wiring complex circuits
- Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices
- Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately
- Provide support to production and maintenance teams when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- Must pass an electrical aptitude/entrance exam
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Working knowledge of shop math, measurement tools, and technical diagrams
Technical Knowledge Should Include
- AC/DC motor operation and troubleshooting
- PLC systems and electrical controls
- Variable frequency drives and related components
- NFPA 70E safety standards
- Power systems up to 480V
- Electrical schematics and motor theory
- Use of common electrical tools and testing equipment
