About The Role

Job Type: Contract to Hire

  • Shifts Needed: 1st shift 7am to 3:30pm Monday Through Friday; 3rd shift 11:00PM to7:00AM Sunday Through Thursday
  • Starting Rate: $18.00/hour (higher based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable CNC Sheet Metal Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating CNC equipment, handling materials, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

Duties Include

  • Use CNC machine to bend sheet metal
  • Use CNC machine to insert hardware in sheet metal
  • Join metal sheets together with spot welding machine
  • Set up, clean and maintain tooling
  • Check parts produced for dimensional accuracy
  • Produce the maximum number of parts in minimum time by working efficiently
  • Material handling using forklift or pallet jack, and by hand
  • Count and stack finished parts
  • Deburr parts
  • Monitor quality during production
  • Maintain equipment & troubleshoot malfunctions
  • Other tasks as required
  • Follow company procedures and safety rules

Requirements

To be considered, Applicants for this position must

  • Be comfortable using a computer to operate equipment
  • Have excellent attendance and dependability
  • Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as needed
  • Be able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Be able to follow written and verbal instructions

These skills are preferred but not required

Have experience setting up and operating CNC manufacturing equipment

Be able to read basic blueprints

Be able to use calipers and other precision measuring tools
