HVAC Equipment Service Technician 3

TITLE- Fire Service Technician: Commercial Marine Location – Mumbai What you will do Hands on Diagnose and rectification of defects in Addressable and Conventional Fire Detection systems onboard ships. Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS. Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program changes, upload/download. How you will do it Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting. Apply control philosophy knowledge to implement retrofit solutions. Analyze onboard logbook data to identify and resolve system defects. Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational excellence. What we look for Education: Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on service experience in AFDS Required Expertise in trouble shooting Addressable & Conventional Fire Detection Systems like Tyco/Siemens/Notifier/Optronic/Consolieum etc Good communication and report-writing abilities. Willingness to travel across Indian ports. Preferred Experience of Commercial Marine conventional/addressable fire detection systems
