About The Role

We are seeking a qualified Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our Rehabilitation team on a casual basis. This role will support the delivery of inpatient physiotherapy services by assisting with weekend rosters and providing additional cover during periods of leave, increased demand, or other service requirements. This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic rehabilitation environment, collaborating closely with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to support patients with a broad range of rehabilitation needs.

You will make an impact by

  • Working collaboratively with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to support patient rehabilitation goals
  • Assisting in the management of patients within the inpatient rehabilitation program
  • Supporting the delivery of hydrotherapy sessions and other group‑based activities
  • Contributing to non‑clinical and administrative tasks to support service delivery

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant within a rehabilitation or hospital setting (preferred) or currently studying towards a physiotherapy qualification 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a collaborative and patient‑centred approach
  • Excellent administration, time‑management, and organisational skills
  • A caring and compassionate nature with a strong focus on patient wellbeing
  • The ability to show initiative, with high attention to detail and accuracy in your work

  • Completion of a Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance, or currently studying towards a Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology qualification, with valid working rights in Australia.
