About the Role

As an HR Intern focused on People Analytics, you will work directly with the CHRO on high‑visibility projects that shape the organization’s talent strategy. This role blends data analysis, research, and strategic HR support — ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and excited to see how data informs real‑world people decisions.

You will gain hands‑on experience across HR functions while contributing to meaningful initiatives in workforce insights, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and HR process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

People Analytics & Data Insights

  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help leaders understand workforce trends and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and metrics that measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices, benchmarking, and emerging trends in people analytics.

Strategic HR Projects

  • Partner with the CHRO on special projects related to organizational development, culture, and employee experience.
  • Help evaluate HR processes and recommend improvements using data‑supported insights.

HR Operations & Support

  • Contribute to HR activities such as data audits, reporting, and documentation.
  • Help maintain accuracy and integrity of HR systems and employee data.
  • Support the coordination of HR programs, surveys, and communication efforts.

What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Curiosity about people, organizational behavior, and how data shapes HR strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to present information clearly in both written and visual formats.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive, resourceful attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Interest in HR technology, workforce trends, and emerging analytics practices.

To Qualify/Apply

You should be a current college student, entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2026.

The internship program will run from June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Interns will work Monday through Friday on a 37.5-hour work week schedule, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

We require candidates to maintain excellent academic standing.

Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.

As part of our hybrid work model, interns are in the office Monday – Thursday and can work remotely on Friday. Please note that Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.

Compensation for all internship positions is set at $25 per hour, and the internship is based out of our Stamford, CT corporate office location.

At this time, we are unable to sponsor visas or OPT.

Environmental Factors

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
