About The Role

Your contribution to something big:  

  • Drive innovative eBike software releases: You ensure the timely delivery of our annual software releases, translating high-level requirements into actionable work packages for development teams.
  • Plan with impact: In close collaboration with developers and team leads, you create realistic project plans, balancing development efforts with testing and system integration timelines.
  • Enable agile execution: You steer workflows using Kanban in Jira, prioritizing and tracking tasks to ensure transparency and efficiency across the entire development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate prototype development: You manage software delivery for prototype phases in R&D and pre-development, aligning multiple software domains such as base software, applications, and motor control.
  • Connect teams & drive alignment: As a central interface, you facilitate collaboration between development, testing, and leadership teams, ensuring shared goals and smooth execution.
  • Anticipate and resolve challenges: You proactively identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts, working cross-functionally—even with production—to find effective solutions.
  • Take ownership: In alignment with global project teams, you structure responsibilities and take ownership of your project streams, driving results end-to-end.

What distinguishes you

  1. Education:
  • Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with a strong technical focus.
  1. Experience:
  • Experience in software project management, ideally within embedded systems, automotive, or a similar high-tech environment.
  1. Know-how:
  • Solid understanding of software development and project planning
  • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Jira)
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into structured plans
  1. Languages:
  • Fluent English required
  • German is a plus
  1. Working Style and Methods:
  • Structured and organized approach
  • Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional environments
  • Proactive in identifying and solving challenges
  1. Personality:
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to bring people together
  • Self-driven, solution-oriented, and open to diverse perspectives
