About The Role

As a Principal Digital Engineer, you will play a key role in developing FPGA-based digital products and instrumentation systems. Based in Cluj-Napoca, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle - from concept and design through validation, sustaining, and manufacturing support.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

Designing hardware for digital development boards and instrumentation systems.

Developing VHDL applications and IP for digital and instrumentation solutions.

Researching and evaluating technical solutions to support product development.

Testing and validating designs using prototypes and evaluation platforms.

Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and digital design challenges.

Partnering with software developers and global R&D teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Providing technical leadership by guiding design decisions, mentoring team members, and driving best practices across projects.

For This Role, You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong knowledge of digital design fundamentals such as state machines, memories, counters, registers, and combinational logic.

Expertise in signal integrity and digital timing.

Hands-on experience with AMD Vivado , TCL, and GitHub.
Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

Experience with FPGA-based development environments.

Exposure to instrumentation products or embedded/digital prototyping platforms.

Experience collaborating across hardware and software engineering teams.
