About The Role
Grow your career as we grow our footprint. We are looking for a standout Environmental Project Manager to join our Somerset, New Jersey team. In this role, you will collaborate with an elite team of Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs), scientists, geologists and engineers on high-impact projects.
We are seeking a mid-level professional to lead project and client management across New Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in remedial investigation and design, regulatory compliance, and environmental monitoring and reporting for a diverse client base.

Duties
Your responsibilities in this role will include
- Technical Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of site remediation projects, ensuring technical high-quality reporting from initial investigation through regulatory closure.
- Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff to foster professional growth
- Project & Client Management: Manage medium-to-large scale projects while maintaining strong client relationships
- Business Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Strategic Planning: Drive strategy for remedial investigations, remedial action, design and implementation
- Regulatory Liaison: Lead communications and negotiations with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to move projects forward
- Operations Excellence: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple priorities and contributing to the firm’s long-term development
Requirements
The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
- Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting with a proven track record of managing remediation projects from due diligence to closure, preferably in New Jersey.
- Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of NJDEP Technical Requirement for Site Remediation (TRSR) and SRRA/LSRP program regulations is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in geologic and hydrogeologic conceptual site modeling; strategic scoping and execution of environmental investigations; design and implementation of soil, sediment and groundwater remedial systems; and authoring comprehensive technical reports (SI, RI, RAW, CEA, RA, etc.).
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience mentoring junior staff and managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead high-stakes negotiations with regulatory agencies and clients.
- Safety: Current 40 Hr. HAZWOPER and current 8-hour refresher.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required to meet project and client needs dictated by project demands.
