We are seeking a hardworking Traveling Lead Technician specialized in Supply Chain Infrastructure. If you thrive in fast-paced warehouse environments, this role is for you. You will coordinate daily tasks with the Foreman, operate high lifts, and keep our industrial installations on track. This is a fully hands-on role with the opportunity to lead crews of 2–4 technicians. [1]

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Teams: Serve as the primary working lead for small crews.
- Direct Work: Provide daily task direction and technical guidance.
- Install Cabling: Remain fully hands-on with Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber.
- Manage Infrastructure: Oversee paging, wireless/AP, CCTV, and access control.
- Coordinate Tasks: Plan daily work schedules directly with the Foreman.
- Operate Lifts: Safely operate 40ft+ boom and scissor lifts.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret prints and plan efficient cable pathways.
- Build Closets: Support large-scale MDF/IDF closet buildouts.
- Install Supports: Set up J-hooks, ladder racks, innerduct, and trays.
- Dress & Label: Ensure all cabling is neatly organized and labeled.
- Organize Site: Assist with material staging and jobsite organization.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and fix cabling and system problems.
- Report Progress: Provide daily progress updates to the Foreman.
- Enforce Safety: Maintain strict safety and quality standards on-site.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 3–5+ years of low-voltage or data cabling.
- Leadership: Proven experience as a Lead Tech or Crew Lead.
- Technical Skills: Strong Cat6 and fiber termination and testing.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with paging, CCTV, and access control.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret site blueprints.
- Heights: Comfortable working at height in large warehouses.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with smartphones, email, and basic spreadsheets.
- Tools & Gear: Must have basic telecom tools and standard PPE.
- Transport: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Background: Clean driving record required for travel.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work 50–60 hours weekly.
