WHO YOU ARE

  • This Darwin-based role will contribute to the successful delivery of complex building projects from design through to handover.
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • 1–4+ years’ experience in project coordination, site engineering or a similar role
  • Sound understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and buildability
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and reports
  • Familiar with Australian Standards, NCC/BCA and authority requirements
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Confident communicator who builds strong working relationships with consultants, subcontractors and site teams
  • Proficient in MS Office, project management software and document control systems (e.g. Aconex, TeamBinder)
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, site-based environment

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support delivery of assigned building works packages across the project lifecycle, from design coordination and procurement through to construction and handover
  • Assist in managing RFIs, design queries and drawing registers, ensuring the latest documentation is available to relevant stakeholders
  • Review drawings for accuracy, sequencing and buildability, identifying design risks and opportunities
  • Monitor progress of design and site activities against programme milestones and report deviations
  • Support site teams with coordination of installation works and accurate set-out
  • Assist with procurement activities, including preparation of scopes of work, tender documentation and assessments
  • Coordinate subcontractor interfaces to ensure compliance with contract scope, safety, quality and programme requirements
  • Track lead times and delivery schedules of key materials against programme targets
  • Support implementation of safety, quality and inspection processes in line with DCOH HSEQ systems and WHS legislation
  • Assist in coordinating inspections, testing and quality checks with engineers and consultants
  • Maintain accurate project records including RFIs, drawing transmittals, variation registers and meeting minutes
  • Support document control, submissions, as-built information and authority compliance documentation
  • Participate in site, consultant and coordination meetings and assist with follow-up actions
  • Contribute to a collaborative, accountable and professional project team culture
