Associate Principal Technical Artist

As an Associate Principal Technical Artist at Aristocrat, you will be at the forefront of our ambitious projects, ensuring our games achieve world-class visual standards.

What You'll Do

• Implementing and maintaining flawless visual build standards using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborating with designers and developers to build outstanding UI and UX experiences.
• Applying your expertise to improve our game features.
• Ensuring relevant processes regarding asset management, file organization, and output configuration are clearly and accurately performed.
• Providing assets punctually and according to specifications with meticulous and comprehensive attention to detail.
• Managing version control and development tools to ensure efficient project workflows.
• Developing technical art solutions that optimize game performance and visual quality.
• Bringing your enthusiasm and technical expertise to help advance our products to the next stage!
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior technical artists and team members.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during development.
• Continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and processes.
• Various other duties, including game documentation and collaborating with multi-disciplined teams to achieve the highest quality games possible.
• Following guidelines set by Mojo studio management to manage/develop art assets to support business needs.
• Bringing in ideas/innovations to improve the overall process in terms of tools and processes.

What We're Looking For

We are searching for a candidate with the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/BFA/MFA or equivalent work experience of 10+ years in a relevant field.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects & Unity and the game development pipeline.
• Experience in 2D/3D gaming and 2D/3D game designing.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and adaptability to work with ambiguity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with global collaborators.
• An ability to notice small details and a readiness to adhere to technical and compliance specifications.
• Passion for the gaming industry and a drive to build world-class experiences.
• Experience using asset control systems (like Perforce).

Good to have

• Ability to sketch or draw (digital or traditional) concepts and ideas, storyboarding.
• Good knowledge of any scripting language to automate artist tools.
• Proven experience working on casino games.
