Your Responsibilities

General Duties

  • Promote equality and inclusion within a diverse classroom environment
  • Foster a safe, dynamic, and emotionally supportive learning space
  • Inspire students with a passion for learning and personal growth
  • Manage behavior fairly and consistently in line with our policies
  • Use data-driven assessment to inform teaching and maximize student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and engage them in their child’s learning

Teaching and Learning

  • Deliver outstanding teaching that creates a calm, purposeful learning environment
  • Collaborate with the Elementary team to enhance the curriculum and teaching spaces
  • Meet the requirements of assessment and moderation to ensure high academic standards

Communication

  • Maintain positive professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and the community
  • Attend and contribute to divisional meetings
  • Keep parents informed about their child's progress and the Elementary curriculum

Professional Development

  • Set and pursue professional goals annually
  • Actively participate in professional development, workshops, and conferences
  • Stay current with developments in technology, pedagogy, and educational theory

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (teaching certificates preferred)
  • International teaching experience or training is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of child development and Elementary-level curriculum
  • Demonstrated respect for diversity in culture, religion, and Christian traditions
  • Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency with G Suite tools
  • Evidence of recent professional growth
