Position Summary
Trade Products is looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for leading daily production activities, assigning work, supporting employees, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.
The Production Supervisor will help drive productivity, quality, employee development, safety, and continuous improvement across the department.
Pay Range: $80,169–$92,000 per year
Primary Responsibilities
- Organize, assign, instruct, and direct daily tasks for production employees.
- Ensure production tasks are completed efficiently and with strong attention to quality.
- Ensure production areas are properly staged and inventory is stocked to support daily operations.
- Notify the appropriate department when stock reaches designated minimum levels.
- Maintain and enforce department standards, including safety, quality, productivity, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and teach productivity techniques to employees.
- Monitor production progress and help resolve issues that impact output, quality, or efficiency.
- Conduct performance management for production employees, including performance reviews, coaching, discipline, training, and recommendations.
- Partner with Human Resources to interview, hire, onboard, and cross-train new team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to a 6S standard.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, manufacturing, business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience supervising direct reports in a high-volume, labor-intensive manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of production planning, process flow, and manufacturing operations.
- Previous experience in a printing environment highly desired.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and continuous improvement.
- Prior leadership, mentoring, coaching, or supervisory training is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to coach employees, hold teams accountable, and support a positive team environment.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing and production environment.
- May be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the production area during the shift.
