Position Summary

The Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Analytics is a key finance leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide financial insight, strategic decision support, and advanced analytics. This role will partner closely with the CFO, executive leadership, and business unit leaders to translate data into actionable strategy, optimize resource allocation, and support long-term value creation.

This position will have direct oversight of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analytics team and will also help build out Arrow’s Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, executive presence, and the ability to influence decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and manages the Corporate FP&A and Business Intelligence teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise financial analysis to support corporate strategy, long-range planning, capital allocation, and major investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for scenario analysis, business cases, ROI evaluation, and strategic decision support.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by providing clear, data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, cost optimization opportunities, and growth initiatives.
  • Partner with the CFO on financial models, analysis, and reporting requests from private equity ownership.
  • Oversee the development of advanced analytics, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve visibility into financial and operational performance.
  • Translate complex data into concise executive-level reporting, insights, and business narratives.
  • Drive standardization and automation of financial analytics to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
  • Leverage financial, operational, and external data to deliver predictive and forward-looking insights.
  • Oversee FP&A processes, including forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and performance reporting.
  • Develop cadence and structure within FP&A to produce timely, relevant, and insightful reporting.
  • Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and competitive trends to inform planning assumptions and leadership decisions.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of finance and analytics professionals.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Accounting, Operations, IT, Data, and business unit teams.
  • Influence across the organization to drive alignment, improve decision-making, and support business priorities.
  • Champion a culture of analytical rigor, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking within Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, analytics, consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience building, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear business insights.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong Excel, financial systems, and reporting experience required.
