Help Operations Assistants train and support the missionaries and volunteers who help with customer service for FamilySearch products, family history center support, and the auxiliary imaging operations for the Area. 1) Assist in setting up and auditing projects for imaging/indexing valuable historical and genealogical records, 2) Assist the supervisor/manager to ensure the quality of the help operations services, 3) Through daily contact, assist the supervisor/manager in preparing materials and procedures for effective missionary training.
40% - Train and support missionaries and volunteers who support the publication and indexing of images of genealogical/historical significance and provide support for the help operations.
30% - Assist in the support for the family history centers inventory/equipment.
20% - Create training documentation and help content.
10% - Other duties as assigned
- An associates degree and 1 year of experience or the equivalent education and experience in computational systems, administration, customer service or contact centers.
- Demonstrated ability to complete detailed work with accuracy.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to achieve proficiency in all team and department standards and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to use the computer including Microsoft Office and social media.
- Proficiency in English.
- Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills
