
ASEAN Service Growth Manager

The Service Growth Manager is responsible for accelerating service revenue growth across India and ASEAN by transforming Service into a commercial growth engine.
The role drives lifecycle monetization of the installed base through service contracts, repairs, rentals, refurbishment, and value-added services, working in close partnership with Commercial, Marketing, and Service Operations teams.
This position owns execution of regional service growth initiatives and ensures service becomes a strategic differentiator supporting sustainable business performance.
Responsibilities
- Service Revenue Growth (Primary Accountability)
- Drive measurable service revenue growth across ASEAN.
- Increase service contract penetration and lifecycle monetization.
- Develop and execute regional service growth plans aligned with EM strategy.
- Build and maintain a qualified service opportunity pipeline.
- Commercial Integration
- Partner with Sales leadership to embed service within capital sales strategy.
- Position service as a value driver during customer acquisition and retention.
- Support commercial teams in identifying service upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Influence commercial mindset shift from Service as Cost → Service as Growth Driver.
- Install Base Monetization
- Improve install base visibility and service coverage.
- Identify non-contracted systems and convert into recurring revenue.
- Drive adoption of standardized service offerings and pricing frameworks.
- Service Portfolio Execution
- Deploy contracts, refurbishment, rental, and value-added services programs.
- Support launch and scaling of new service offerings.
- Ensure regional adoption of global service frameworks.
- Performance & Governance
Track and manage KPIs including
- Service revenue growth
- Contract capture rate
- Install base coverage
- Lead generation & conversion
- Customer experience indicators
- Implement dashboards and governance rhythm with regional stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as primary interface between Service, Commercial, Marketing, and Finance.
- Support regional leaders in executing service growth initiatives.
- Enable field teams through structured engagement and coaching.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Electronics, Medical Technology, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent commercial/business experience preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Medical Devices across commercial, service, lifecycle management, or business growth roles.
- Demonstrated track record of driving measurable revenue growth, lifecycle monetization, or business expansion initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to influence sales organizations and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience working across multi-country or regional environments, preferably within emerging markets.
- Ability to operate effectively in transformation and growth environments with high organizational complexity.
- Data-driven decision maker with strong execution mindset and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate challenging commercial dynamics constructively.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging senior leadership and translating technical/service concepts into business value.
- Experience building business cases, growth plans, or commercial initiatives is highly desirable.
- Six Sigma or process improvement certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Travel: 30% regional/market travels.
- Physical Demands: Regular lifting, travel, and on-site work in hospital environments may be required.
