Product Engineer

Essential Job Functions

• •Apply new technologies to develop products that solve customer needs.
• •Broad understanding of engineering principles
• •Take a concept from idea phase through to production launch.
• •Develop and execute testing plans for novel concepts.
• •Apply tools like DFMEA, DVP&R, Cost Estimates, and work within a stage-gate process.
• •Collaborate within cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
• •Embrace the iterative nature of R&D, knowing when to pause or persevere.

Candidate Requirements

• •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• •0-3+ years experience with new product development.
• •Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• •Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity.
• •Effective communication and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks independently.
• •Familiarity with injection molding and extrusions; experience with glass or building materials a plus.
• •Oracle or ERP system experience a plus.
