Job Overview

Primoris Distribution Services is seeking an experienced Gas Distribution Fuser to join our team in Greenville, Texas . This position requires previous natural-gas distribution experience and hands-on experience performing poly fusion, also known as poly welding or pipe fusion.

The current project is located in Leonard, Texas; however, the crew truck departs from Greenville each day. Candidates must be able to report to Greenville daily.

Job Responsibilities

Perform poly fusion on polyethylene gas pipe and fittings.
Inspect, prepare, align, and fuse pipe according to established procedures and specifications.
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground natural-gas distribution systems.
Operate fusion equipment and related tools safely and correctly.
Inspect completed fusion joints to ensure quality and compliance.
Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.
Assist the crew with excavation, backfilling, pipe installation, and general jobsite duties as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work area.

Job Qualifications

Previous experience working in natural-gas distribution is required.
Previous poly-fusion, poly-welding, or pipe-fusion experience is required.
Knowledge of underground gas-pipeline construction and safe work practices.
Ability to report to Greenville, Texas, each workday.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
Ability to travel to surrounding project locations as needed.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
