Finance Manager

About The Role
The jobs in this level are responsible for managing an area of financial/accounting activity to ensure the accuracy of financial/accounting data and all internal/regulatory standards are maintained.
- Participates in the development of financial/accounting policies, and procedures and ensures implementation of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the function by facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
- Prepares the business unit budget and ensures that the activities within this unit are implemented processed as per the assigned budget.
- Manages the effective achievement of department objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize subordinate’s performance.
- Ensures that subordinates adhere to internal operational policies and procedures so that a high-quality, timely service is provided to internal customers and external representatives.
- Maintains an awareness of best practice techniques and tools in an area of financial/accounting management so that the function optimises efficiency and levels of service to internal customers.
- Maintains an ongoing awareness of statutory and legal requirements and ensure that these are communicated to all relevant company employees so that the company fulfils its statutory and legal requirements.
- Manages and control the production of key financial statements for the company according to stated schedules so that the company complies with statutory reporting requirements and senior managers in other business areas are accurately apprised of financial performance.
- Ensures liaising with external bodies and representatives (e.g. Saudi regulatory authorities, external auditors, etc…) as required to ensure that any queries are answered in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Manages the preparation of non-routine financial reports and studies for management attention as requested in order to support management decision-making.
- Coordinates completion of internal and annual statutory audits as per agreed schedules so that the company meets its statutory obligations and financial risk is minimised.
Education
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- A formal financial management or accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA or equivalent)

- 7-10 years of related experience
