Production Operative (Wash Plant - Full Training Provided - Backshift)

• We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives (Wash Plant) at our facility in Airdrie.
• This role involves working on the wash plant, ensuring potatoes are washed and prepared appropriately for production. Full training will be provided for this position.
• Shift & Hours of work: Sunday 0900 - 1700, & Monday to Thursday 1700 - 0100.
• Salary: £12.71 per hour plus 50p per hour backshift premium.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing equipment to ensure potatoes are cleaned according to quality standards.
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance of wash plant machinery to ensure efficient operation.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the wash plant area.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Requirements

• No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically fit to handle standing for long periods and manual tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work backshift hours reliably.
