About The Role

As an L7 Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the MDT chassis production process, ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise will be instrumental in achieving production targets, managing manpower, and implementing innovative techniques to enhance productivity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our commercial vehicle operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Achieve production targets in truck assembly, ensuring timely and efficient vehicle roll-out.
  • Handle manpower planning and crisis management, ensuring a well-organized and responsive team.
  • Implement continuous improvements, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
  • Maintain high process and product quality standards, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Train and guide blue-collar associates, ensuring a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
  • Identify and address quality-related issues, taking effective countermeasures to maintain product integrity.
  • Implement new techniques and technologies to optimize productivity and streamline operations.
  • Upkeep and maintain quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimize the utilization of machines and equipment, maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure 5S discipline and maintain a safe and organized shop floor environment.
  • Diploma in ( Electrical Electronics /Mechatronics/Automobiles/Mechanical)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of implementing effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing systems and ERP software, such as SAP or MES, is highly preferred.
  • Experience in manpower planning and crisis management, demonstrating effective decision-making abilities.
  • A strong belief in and commitment to continuous improvement, with a proven track record of implementing successful initiatives.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as IATF.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
