About The Role

Honeywell UOP Korea is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Project Engineer to support the execution of Modular projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities, managing technical interfaces, and supporting project execution to ensure successful delivery of customer projects.

The Advanced Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Disciplines, Procurement, Project Controls, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure project objectives related to scope, schedule, quality, and cost are achieved.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary technical focal point between engineering disciplines, project management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Support project planning, execution, and monitoring activities.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule and meet project requirements.
  • Identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks affecting project execution.
  • Support engineering reviews, design reviews, HAZOPs, and customer meetings.
  • Coordinate procurement and supplier technical activities as required.
  • Manage engineering interfaces related to equipment, packages, and modular systems.
  • Support management of scope changes and engineering change requests.
  • Prepare project status reports and provide technical updates to project stakeholders.
  • Promote Honeywell UOP safety, quality, and engineering excellence standards throughout project execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, project engineering, project execution, or EPC project delivery.
  • Experience working on refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, LNG, energy, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes and project execution methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting FastFEED, Modular Plant, or Mega Project execution.
  • Experience coordinating engineering deliverables across multiple disciplines.
  • Knowledge of procurement, supplier management, and fabrication activities.
  • Experience working with global engineering and project teams.
  • Familiarity with project risk management and change management processes.
