About The Role

The solutions architect is responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected solution and transforms that vision through execution into the solution. Defines a development protocol, coding standard and CI/CD pipelines.

Work location: The Vertical Business Suite, Bangsar South., Malaysia

Working time: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, work at the office 100%

Responsibilities

Defines development protocols and keeps all up to date for secured code review guideline (PCIDSS application), code review, coding guidelines, code management best practices and also ensuring that teams are following the defined protocols.

Defines what are needed to be included into CI/CD pipelines for example code scan, secret key scan, web scan etc., works on POC, come up with well defined how to document and conduct a demo session with respective development teams.

Act like a technical area of expertise to produce technical how to articles and share to development teams, including with answering a question which related to solution design.

On the request to participate with a complex customer projects in order to find the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems.

Collaborate extensively with development team leaders and technical delivery teams to ensure alignment of best practices and standards.

Researches and adopting new and emerging technologies, evaluating new tools, technologies and platforms then work on POC, documentation, demonstration and defines standard for department level.

Researches and identifies standards and best practices as appropriate for discipline

Mentors and coaches junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Drives architectural decisions and owns technical debt management strategy across projects.

Leads incident response and root cause analysis for production issues, ensuring lessons learned are documented and shared.

Champions system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization across services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience delivering large-scale, high-traffic backend systems in production.

Has knowledge of industry standards and ability to translate/apply research into the business needs

Has a strong technical background of Dotnet, CI/CD, Jenkins, Cloud service, Design

Passionate about new knowledge

Excellent spoken and written English skills as well as organizational skills

Good inter-team communication

Solid knowledge of formal software engineering methodologies, Software development tools, Unit Testing, Code management tools, Design tools

Has in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline or area

Good at adapting to limitations and high confidence

Proficient in Java and/or .NET with hands-on experience, or demonstrable willingness and ability to learn and ramp up quickly in either technology stack.

Has a strong knowledge of cloud concepts

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or other), including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.

Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design (REST/gRPC), and event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

Solid experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).

Proficient in system design — able to design for high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scalability.

Experience with observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)

Understanding of security best practices, including OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT), and secure coding principles.

Proven ability to lead technical discussions, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus on architectural decisions.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to estimate, plan, and deliver work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a track record of resolving complex production issues.
