Academic Credentials and Expertise

Essential (Mandatory)

• B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering with deep understanding of local NBC (National Building Code), municipal bylaws, fire safety regulations, and environmental regulatory norms.
• Preferable : M.Tech in Construction Management, MBA in Infrastructure/Project Management, PMP® (Project Management Professional) or LEED/Green Building Certification.

Work Experience

16 –18+ years as in civil construction including minimum 5+ years as a Lead Project Manager handling High-Rise / Multi-Storey structural projects related to Educational campus. Candidate with green field project experience would be preferred experience

Job Description : Responsible for end-to-end management of the construction project, ensuring delivery within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with high quality, safety, and institutional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Planning : Coordinate with Vendor and develop baseline schedules (CPM/PERT) using MS Project/Primavera, track milestones, and manage daily site operations for structural, MEP, and finishing work.

Stakeholder Coordination : Liaise between college trustees/management, architects, structural consultants, local municipal authorities, and government agencies for approvals and NOCs.

Contractor & Vendor Management : Oversee subcontractors, specialized vendors (HVAC, elevators, fire safety), evaluate work orders and process bills.

Budget & Cost Control : Monitor project Cash flow, control variances, manage change orders, and submit financial reports

Quality Assurance & Safety (QA/QC & HSE) : Ensure strict adherence to building codes, structural standards, and safety compliance protocols across all execution teams.

Site Management & Problem Solving : Lead daily site coordination meetings, resolve design/site discrepancies, and mitigate delay risks proactively.
