As a Technical Support Specialist at ICON, you will be essential in providing technical assistance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our clinical systems and technologies.
- Work location: Loyang office-based (30 Loyang way, Unit 02/12-15, Singapore 508769)
- Working hour: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
What You Will Do
Your role will involve delivering scientific operations work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include
- Responding to and resolving technical inquiries and issues from users across the organization in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that improve system efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Providing training and guidance to users on system functionality and best practices to enhance their technical proficiency.
- Documenting technical issues and solutions in a knowledge base to support ongoing improvements and training materials.
Your Profile
You will bring relevant scientific operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the healthcare or clinical research sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with various operating systems, software applications, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
